Telemedicine Must Have

Acceptable phones are Android or iPhone devices. Acceptable computers or laptops are Windows or Mac computers with a webcam.


Before the Day of the Appointment

When you scheduled an appointment, we sent an email to the one we have on file for you. You will need to click on the email link, it will bring you to Telemed.AdvancedMD.com (Email will be sent within 15 minutes of scheduling appointment)

– There will be a visit code box on the screen, under it will be a download link for “ZOOM”

– Click link to download ZOOM (App for phone/tablet devices, download for PC or MAC)

-Once you have downloaded the platform, you can exit. (You will not be able to finish the check-in process and enter the waiting room until 20 minutes before appointment time)


DAY OF APPOINTMENT

-20 minutes before your appointment time, go to your EMAIL and CLICK on the link from above, follow to ZOOM.

– Your visit code will automatically display in the box on the screen, click on the arrow to go

– The next page will have three tabs to finish the check-in process:

TAB1: Accept terms and conditions

TAB2: Then enter the waiting room. Type in the comment box to let us know what you are seeing the provider for. Click on ENTER WAITING ROOM.


PLEASE REMEMBER TO:

Allow Pop-ups for audio/ video. The message will state “Visit will start once provider enters the session”.
