Robert Kimmel, M.D.

Dr. Robert Kimmel

     Dr. Kimmel is certified by the American Board of internal medicine in Endocrinology and Diabetes. His background includes many years in clinical practice and research. Dr. Kimmel enrolled in the country’s first undergraduate program in biomedical engineering at Northwestern University Technological Institute in Evanston, Illinois, in 1970, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.

     He subsequently attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree and later served as a resident in internal medicine. He worked for ten years in family and preventive medicine before focusing on endocrinology. He completed his endocrine fellowship at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

     He received clinical training and experience at the N.I.H. Clinical Center, Georgetown University, and Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. At the N.I.H, he worked on molecular aspects of gene regulation in the laboratory of the late Dr. Alan Wolfe.

     He returned to the Pacific North West in 1998 for a post-doctoral fellowship with the Paul Nieman Lab at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and with Professor Scott Davis at the University of Washington Department of Epidemiology. The research focused on radiation-induced genomic instability in post-Chernobyl thyroid cancer and other model systems. Over the years Dr. Kimmel has practiced medicine in a variety of settings in Maryland, Missouri, and Washington, finally settling in Puyallup where he has practiced since 2009.


Julia Kelley, ARNP, CDE, BC-ADM


     Julia comes to Viewpoint Endocrinology with 16 years of experience in healthcare.  She has worked within endocrine clinics for 11 years.  She is a Certified Diabetes Educator, collaborating with patients in their diabetes management.

     Julia completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing Science at Emory University, in Georgia, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Iowa. She has been living in the northwest area since 2014 with her two daughters.

Margo Dailey, ARNP

Margo Dailey , ARNP

    Margo is a licensed Nurse Practitioner with a diverse background in healthcare. After earning her Bachelors in Science of Nursing from the University of Tampa, she began her career in critical care where she gained invaluable experience. She then transitioned to travel nursing where she expanded her expertise. This included the emergency room and trauma rehabilitation, providing care to patients in a range of clinical scenarios. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Cincinnati while working as a travel nurse. With a strong focus on adult patient care, Margo has developed a deep understanding of complex medical conditions, appropriate interventions, and patient-centered care. Now, as a Nurse Practitioner, Margo continues to make an impact on her patients by delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
